Although many fisheye lenses produce a circular image, the RZ 37 f4.5 expresses its expansive 180 degree angle of view in a rectangular format which fills the entire film frame. The startling perspective produced by its scene-encompassing optics can be used to create powerful imagery for landscape, architectural, advertising, industrial and editorial photography. Super wide-angle lenses such as this were once thought to be novelties with limited applications, but they have since established themselves in the mainstream of photographic thought and vision.
