Introduced May 2003, the Nikon Coolpix 5400 has 5.1 megapixel CCD sensor, 4x Zoom Nikkor ED lens with wide-angle coverage extending 28mm to 116mm, minimum focusing range of 50cm (1cm in Macro), and 1.5" TFT LCD with anti-reflecting coating. The Nikkor ED lens features extra-low dispersion and produces remarkable crisp and vivid images. It is equipped with 5-area multi autofocus for simplified photo compositon.
The Coolpix 5400 has minimal shutter lag and a high-speed autofocus. It also features Nikon's 256-segment matrix metering to insure accurate exposed images with Center-Weighted, Spot and Spot AF metering option. Compact design constructed of solid metal-alloy, the Nikon 5400 is versatile and produces excellent quality.
