Description

The classic Nikon F helped establish Nikon as the leader in quality 35mm SLR photography back in late 50's, early 60's - and still holds up today! The Nikon F was Nikon's first SLR featuring interchangeable viewfinders and focusing screens. The Nikon F is fully manual with incredible toughness and reliability. This design was the first SLR to offer an optional battery-powered motor drive and optional perspective control 35mm lens. It is easy to identify because the pentaprism has a large "F' on its face and has no llight meter built into the prism. The Nikon F has shutter speeds of 1s to 1/1000, plus B & T, self-timer (3s to 10 sec) and is compatible with Non-AI lens mount.
