The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8 is a micro four thirds digital camera featuring a newly-developed 20.3-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor capable of high burst speeds and an ISO up to 25600.  With a huge lineup from the LUMIX G DSLM (Digital Single-Lens Mirrorless) system, the Lumix GX8 is compatible with over 20 interchangeable lenses.

Built of magnesium alloy, the durable GX8 is splash and dust sealed to allow use in most any environment.  The body features intuitive dials for selecting shooting modes, exposure compensation, focus modes, as well as front/rear dials to control aperture and shutter speed settings.

Using Panasonic's exclusive 4K PHOTO and 4K Ultra HD Video technology, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8 can pull still images while recording 4K video at 30 fps in high resolution.  The system allows for various modes such as 4K Burst (continuous 8-megapixel images pulled during 4K video while shutter depressed), 4K Burst Start / Stop, and 4k Pre-Burst (recording 1 second before and after pressing the shutter).  You'll never miss a moment again.

Enjoy ultra-clear images, even in dim light, thanks to the innovate Dual Image Stabilizer (Dual I.S.).  The GX8's built in image stabilization works in tandem with Lumix lenses equipped with optical image stabilization and the Venus Engine image processor to provide remarkable image quality.

Panasonic's Depth-From-Defocus (DFD) Auto Focus (AF) technology quickly brings the subject into focus at speeds up to 0.07 seconds and a burst shooting speed with Continuous Auto Focus (AFC) of 6 frames per second.  Also added is the Low Light Auto Focus (Starlight AF) to accurately focus at -4EV low light situations and beautifully capture the night sky.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8 also features brilliant viewing through the high resolution 2,360k-dot resolution tilting OLED Live View finder at 0.77x magnification (with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio) or via the 3.0" 1040k-dot rear, free-angle, touch-screen OLED monitor.  The rear monitor features a tilt and swivel design allowing viewing from a wide range of angles.  Using the touch control, focus simply by touching the subject on the screen.
