The SMC Pentax 6x7 75 F/4.5 wide-angle lens correspond to the 35mm wide-angle focal length in the 35mm film format. Considering the retro-focus design, the lens is relatively compact, yet absolutely no sacrifice in optical performance was made in order to reduce their physical dimensions. The extensive depth of field and close focusing capabilities aid greatly in the creation of highly dramatic effects. Furthermore, focusing is simplified y its comparatively large maximum aperture.
