The Pentax K10D fashions a durable weather-resistant, stainless steel structure with 72 seals assuring complete protection against environmental conditions. In addition to its durability, the K10D has 10.2 megapixel resolution with CCD sensor featuring 11-point SAFOX VIII AF system with nine cross-type sensors and Prime imaging processor to give you well-balanced, true-to-life images often produced by film cameras. The K10D employs dust removal system to prevent dust attaching to the CCD image sensor and in-camera Shake Reduction system to avoid blurred images as a result of camera shake during handheld shooting. K10D also features a shutter unit designed to accommodate close to 100k releases while promising high-precision operation over the entire shutter speed range, 1/4000th second high-speed shutter, 3fps continuous shooting, 2.5" wide-view LCD monitor, bright pentaprism viewfinder, exposure system for flexibility and creativity (ex. Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, etc.) and Pentax Photo Lab 3 software.
