Versatile lens for any situation, Sigma 18-250mm focal length telephoto with macro capabilities was introduced in January 2009.  The Sigma 18-250mm has macro capabilities with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.9 and an 13.9x zoom range. Sigma has designed the lens with an Optical Stabilization (OS). With a combine OS system, Special Low Dispersion glass, and three aspherical lens glasses properly enables color correction aberration and compensates for camera shake. Equipped with Super Multi-Layer Coating to reduce flare and ghosting and Hyper Sonic Motor to ensure fast and quiet auto-focusing. Sigma has included rounded, seven-bladed diaphragm to create an attractive round blur to the out of focus areas.

Composed of a high degree of elasticity and exhibits little variation in its structure reduces the expansion and contraction caused by extreme temperatures. The construction of the lens includes a brass finished bayonet mount applied on the surface to boost strength for long-term use and empower high accuracy and firmness.
