Childhood Cancer Awareness Month: Fundraising with Flashes of Hope

Childhood Cancer Awareness month is recognized every September and we’re doing our part to help raise funds for cancer research with an organization dear to our hearts, Flashes of Hope. Flashes of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating powerful, uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

These portraits establish pride and hope in each child and helps their families look beyond the sickness and focus on celebrating the strength of each child. Each Flashes of Hope volunteer dedicates each session to “ make children feel like celebrities instead of cancer patients.”

We are participating in Child Cancer Awareness Month this September by helping Flashes of Hope raise money for pediatric cancer research. Please join us in spreading hope by sharing a photo that inspires hope within you! Whether it’s a photo from your favorite vacation spot, a portrait of your family member, your dearest companion, or capturing positive change in the world, we want to know what brings you hope. Tag #KEHCameraCares in your photos on Instagram, and for every tag we will make a donation to Flashes of Hope.

Note: Participants must post an appropriate photo using the hashtag #KEHCameraCares by September 30th, 2019 to be counted for a donation. KEH will donate for every qualifying participation, up to $3,000 in total.
