Other features include UD glass for suppression of chromatic aberration, a Subwavelength coating for reduced ghosting, a Fluorine coating that keeps soiling, smears and fingerprints to a minimum, full-time manual focus override, and Canon L-series build quality. L-Series lenses have the finest optics, the best construction and the best performance available, you get that all in an epically wide optic that stimulates creativity and delivers stunning images.
