The Minolta 40mm F/2 M-Rokkor M Mount Lens is an outstanding normal length lens designed for the Leica and Minolta CL/CLE and M-mount systems.

With a bright f/2 aperture, the Minolta 40mm allows for bright imaging, even when shooting in dim light.  The solid, all-metal design includes aperture markings and a convenient focus scale that is clearly engraved on the lens barrel.  The aperture ring is moved to the end of the barrel for easy use and clicks in half-stop increments. The mid-barrel engineered focusing ring is smooth and precise.

Weighing less than 4 ounces (105 grams), the Minolta 40mm F/2 M-Rokkor was the smallest M-mount lens created at the time.  Mounted to the Leica or Minolta CL/CLE or M-mount systems, this 40mm lens offers one of the most compact kits available for street and normal photography.
