Minolta answers the call! Not wanting to be left out of the pro market, Minolta in 1973 responded to Nikon's F2 by creating the XK. Built as a part of a full system, which included the new, specially designed Rokkor-X lenses, the XK became the basis for Minolta's future generations of electronic cameras.
