Olympus Motor 1 (For OM-1, OM-2)

Motor Drive 1 (for use on OM1, OM1n, OM2, OM2n): (2 pages) Consists of two parts: the motor drive unit which attaches to the camera body via the tripod socket in the base plate, and the power source which attaches to the motor drive directly, or via cable. Also, there are two versions of the Motor Drive 1: one with, and one without a remote control jack on the top of the grip next to the shutter release button. The complete motor drive unit has three operating modes: Single Frame, Sequence, and Off. The selector switch is located on the power source. Firing rate in Sequence mode: up to 5 fps, depending on shutter speed and battery charge. Power Sources: Ni-Cd Control Pack 1 (M.15v). A rechargeable NiCad battery pack that fits onto the bottom of the Motor Drive 1 unit. The Ni-Cad batteries are charged using M.15v Ni-Cd Charger 1. Battery Life: approximately 40- 36 exposure rolls of film. Full charge time: 4 to 5 hours. Charging for less time gives shorter capacity. Control Grip 1 (M.18v), 12-AA batteries (M.18v Battery Holder 1) or Nicads. This pistol grip type unit attaches to the bottom of the MotorDrive 1. It can also be used detached from the Motor Drive by using Relay Cords 1.2m or 10m. This would be done to keep batteries warm in cold weather, or for remote control operation.
