PC-Nikkor 105mm f/2.5 (Non-AI) is a lens offering a large number of features with top performance characteristics for excellent versatility. The 105mm has been noted as one of the best choice all-purpose telephoto lens. It has been regarded as a great choice for portraiture, photojournalist and general purpose photography. Its 3.5 feet close focusing distance provides 1:7.7 magnification ratio. Its optical construction is composed of five elements in four groups with Nikon Integrated Coating to enhance performance by increasing image contrast and reduce flare and ghosting. Its wide aperture range allows for greater exposure control. The lens also features close range correction system to maintain exceptional image quality over the entire focusing range when used at its respective minimum focusing range.
