Description

Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/4 AI-S is a telephoto prime lens designed for close-up or macro photography at high reproduction ratios. The lens has a special focusing helicoid that allows operation from infinity to a 1:2 reproduction ratio without adapters. The application of Nikon Integrated Coating (NIC) further enhances performance by increasing image contrast, while reducing flare and ghosting for outstanding color reproduction. With select Nikon cameras, this lens provides Automatic Maximum Aperture Index (AI) permitting full aperture exposure measurement through the dual functioning of the meter coupling ridge and automatic diaphragm. The lens also features close range correction system to maintain exceptional image quality over the entire focusing range when used at its respective minimum focusing range.
