The Nikon D800e is a highly advanced pro-level DSLR with many features. It has a magnesium alloy body that is weather sealed. Inside there is a highly advanced 36.3 MP full-frame CMOS sensor with the anti aliasing filter counteracted for extra sharpness. The viewfinder is big and has 51 autofocus points with 15 being cross type. On the back there is a large 3.2'', 921,000 pixel screen which is more than enough to get a good look a recent pictures and navigate menus. This camera also features 1080p video recording. This camera is extremely capable. Compared to it's sibling the D800 the D800e offers increased sharpness thanks to a negated anti-aliasing filter. This additional image sharpness comes with more risk of moire and false color in images. Shooting RAW is recommended to maximize options in post production. The D800 and D800e are otherwise effectively identical in features.
