Introduced in 2004, the Nikon F6 is an exceptional 35mm film professional SLR camera body. A very solid case can be made that the F6 is the most technologically advanced 35mm film camera ever produced (even more than a decade after it's introduction). The F6 is one of only two film bodies offering a color sensitive light meter (the other being the Nikon F5). The unique 3D Color Matrix metering system may be of greatest value to photographers working with the narrower exposure latitudes present in chrome films, but anyone shooting under changing light conditions will come to appreciate the intelligence of the metering system. The rest of the F6 is equally advanced. Other reasons people fall in love with this camera include: precise high-speed AF operation, minimal mirror black-out time thanks to a responsive shutter and high-speed anti-bouce mirror balancing mechanism, and Nikon's i-TTL Creative Lighting System for an unbeatable flash photography. The F6 employs a variety of exciting and innovative control and customization options to allow the user to configure the camera to fit their individual shooting style.
