This 40-150mm (35mm Equivalent of 80-300mm) lens is part of the Olympus M.Zuiko Pro line, offering professional grade build and optics.  With a bright, constant f/2.8 maximum aperture, this weather sealed telephoto makes for a flawless portrait/zoom lens for working in nearly all lighting conditions and weather environments.  The seven elements (three aspherical; four ED) have been designed to eliminate chromatic and spherical aberrations for a brilliantly sharp image.  The Zuiko Extra-Low Reflective Optical (ZERO) Coating, adapted from the Olympus industry-leading line of precision microscopes, makes ghosting and flares virtually non-existent; even when shooting into the sun or with back-lit subjects.

The Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 M.Zuiko Pro comes equipped with a programmable on-lens function button (L-Fn) allowing you to set one of 27 different functions for quick access.  The gear-free and quiet Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) lens drive system delivers superior auto-focus and ensures fast and virtually silent performance; particularly important for the videographer shooting HD movies.
