The Olympus 12-50mm F/3.5-6.3 M.Zuiko ED EZ MSC is a standard zoom lens designed for Micro Four Thirds digital cameras.  In addition to high quality still photography use the 12-50mm is particularly well suited for video work.  The lens notably features a newly developed motorized zoom mechanism for easy smooth and quiet zooming while shooting movies.  Equivalent to a 24-100mm (35mm format equivalent) the 4.2X zoom range extends from significantly wide-angle to a medium telephoto focal length, optimal for portraits.  The AF system is a the MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) mechanism using by a newly developed linear motor drive for faster, quieter focusing.  Dust and Splash Proof construction lets you shoot in harsh conditions without worry.
