The Pentax SMC DA 35mm f/2.4 AL is a standard prime lens designed for Pentax DSLRs with APS-C size sensor. The lens is quite versatile and ideal for new DSLR users. The f/2.4 aperture is fast; therefore, enabling photographing in low-light conditions. The lens delivers edge-to-edge sharpness and high-resolution images. Pentax has integrated their Super Protect coating for easy cleaning while repelling moisture, dust, and oil base substance. The lens is constructed of six elements in five groups, 11.81" minimum focusing distance, and equivalent 52.5mm field of view in 35mm format.
