The Pentax K2000 DSLR packs an array of user-friendly features including Pentax's easy-to-use Auto Picture mode and various helpful learning tools in the smallest, lightweight, DSLR body in is its arena. It also employs 10.2 megapixel CCD sensor, 2.7-inch 230k-dot LCD monitor, in-camera Shake Reduction System to avoid blurred images as a result of camera shake during handheld shooting, comprehensive Dust Removal System to keep the image sensor clean for spotless images, 3.5 fps continuous shooting, multi-segment metering, various scene modes and six digital filters. The Live View function allows a preview of the frozen frame across the LCD panel permitting the ability to assess the focus, exposure, and composition.
