Nikon S3, produced from 1958 to 1960, is a less expensive version of the SP. Identify by noting that there are frame lines for only three lenses: 35mm, 50mm, and 105mm. This professional grade, interchangeable lens system is mechanically similar to the Nikon SP - with the exception of the viewfinder system. The S3 viewfinder does not compensate for parallax error and the framelines are fixed.
