The Sigma 150-600mm F/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary (Sigma part# 745-306) is a super-telephoto zoom lens for full-frame Nikon cameras. It's perfect for any long-range photographic situation one may encounter.
Designed with one FLD and three SLD elements, the Sigma 150-600 produces sharp images while controlling aberrations and distortion commonly experienced in long glass. Chromatic aberration is controlled at the long end of the lens via the optimized design of these elements.
The optical stabilizer (OS) includes an accelerometer for both horizontal and vertical panning in birding, wildlife, and sports photography. Autofocus can be overridden with a Focusing is provided by high performance HSM (HyperSonic Motor) and autofocus can be overridden with a new manual override (MO) switch.
The lens mount is dust and splash proof. The tripod collar has integral strap mount. The barrel has a zoom lock switch, allowing you to lock in a focal length.
The 150-600 works with the Sigma USB dock for maximum customization allowing for firmware updates and adjustments to the focus limiter, AF speed, and OS view.
