Introduced December 2007, the Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8 APO EX DG HSM II Macro lens has refined optical layout offering improved optical performance, and is the fourth iteration of the same basic EX design first unveiled in 1999. The Sigma 70-200mm has a large f/2.8 aperture and the ability to retain close-ups with a minimum focusing distance of 39.4 inches, and 1:3.5 maximum magnification ratio. 

Suitable for taking various types of portraits, landscape, and close-up portraits. The HSM focusing system ensures fast, silent, accurate autofocusing. Two SLD and three ELD glass elements deliver exceptional correction for a variety types of chromatic aberrations. The Sigma 70-200mm further incorporates super multi-layer coating reducing flare and ghosting; and internal focusing and zooming systems. Overall, the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM II Macro lens consistently delivers high image quality.
