The Sony 16-35mm f/4 Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* ZA OSS is a high-end compact wide-angle lens built for the Sony E-Mount system. It's designed to cover full 35mm frame imaging sensors and is also useable on APS-C size sensors.

With a constant f/4 maximum aperture through the entire zoom range, a wide 83° - 44° angle of view, and built-in OSS (Optical SteadyShot image stabilization) the Sony 16-35mm is the ideal wide-angle lens whether you're shooting landscapes, groups, interiors or other scenes demanding ultra-sharp and clear performance. The OSS system allows you to shoot handheld with greater stability and slower shutter speeds than would otherwise be practical, even in dim light.

The Sony 16-35 is designed with five aspherical elements (including one Advanced Aspherical lens) and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements for accurate color rendering and minimal distortion in a light-weight design. The Zeiss T* coating delivers superb natural contrast and precise color delivery expected by today's landscape and interior professionals.

Accurate focusing is provided by a fast and near silent Sony linear stepping motor well suited for a range of applications including video and stills. The weather-resistant lens with rubberized rings is designed to resist dust and moisture, allowing you to work in all conditions and provides you with the craftsmanship you expect from a high-end lens.
