Lightly used with very limited signs of wear. Exceptionally nice but may have slight wear on finish visible. Glass will be very clean.

The Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar T* ZA SSM (Sony part# SAL2470)is a high-performance lens built for the Sony A-Mount system.

With a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture through the entire zoom range, a wide 61°-23° APS-C angle of view, and a 35mm equivalent of 36-105mm, the Sony 24-70mm is the ideal everyday lens whether you're shooting portraits, landscapes, groups, interiors or other scenes demanding ultra-sharp and clear performance. The bright f/2.8 aperture allows slower shutter speeds than would otherwise be practical, even in dim light.

The Sony 24-70mm is designed with aspherical elements and ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements for accurate color rendering and minimal distortion in a light-weight design. The Zeiss T* coating delivers superb natural contrast and precise color delivery expected by today's landscape and interior professionals.

Ever since it was originally introduced in 2008 the SAL2470 has received rave reviews.  In 2015 sony release a 2nd version the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar T* ZA SSM II (SAL2470Z2) with improved sealing and even faster AF speed.  The original model remains quite popular due to it's stellar performance and lower pricing.

Accurate focusing is provided by a fast and near silent Super Sonic wave Motor (SSM) well suited for a range of applications including video and stills. Also located on the barrel is a focus hold button to lock in your current focus settings.  This high-performance, fast Carl Zeiss zoom lens is a brilliant all-around performer, it's one of Sony's best.
