Designed for full frame cameras, the Sony 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS FE E-mount Autofocus Lens is a lightweight versatile lens designed to handle a wide-ranging variety of shooting needs.  The practical zoom range lets you go from wide-angle to a short telephoto lens with just a twist of the barrel.

The Sony 28-70mm features internal focusing, so only the middle groups of the lens move without changing the overall length of the lens while the quiet linear motor provides smooth focus and rapid response to meet your photo and video needs.

Built with three aspherical lenses, the Sony 28-70mm F/3.5-5.6 OSS FE effectively reduces spherical aberration while keeping the size and weight of the lens to a minimum.  The ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens dramatically reduces chromatic aberrations at telephoto ranges, and provides incredible contrast across the entire image, even at large aperture settings.  This results in a lightweight and responsive lens that produces consistently clear and accurate images.  Optical SteadyShot (OSS) image stabilization has also been designed into the lens to increase usability in low light shooting situations.
