Description

The Sony A7 IV is a capable full frame mirrorless camera for photography enthusiasts and hybrid video content creators. It brings much of autofocus technology pioneered in Sony's flagship a1 model to a much more accessible price point. Other a7 IV advancements include: a built-in soft skin effect option, 10-Bit HEIF still images, noticeably improved menu interfaces over the previous generation, and control improvements like manual AF assist. Numerous other videography upgrades include H.265 recording, 10 Bit capture, Breathing Compensation, and Cinetone S color mode.

Video specialists should consider the Sony A7S III. Still shooters looking for more resolution should consider the Sony A7R IV.
