The Sony Alpha A9 is a professional high performance full frame mirrorless interchangeable lens digital camera designed for action/sports photography, wedding photography, and photojournalism.  The A9 was made with accurate high speed shooting as a primary mission; it can shoot 20fps (frames per second) at full 24MegaPixel resolution without any viewfinder blackout while also recalculating focus and exposure 60 times a second.  The large 35mm sized BSI (Back Side Illuminated) sensor offers extremely high ISOs (up to 204,800) and 5-axis image stabilization for incredible low light shooting options.  The sensor is almost completely covered with phase-detection AF points (693 points, 93% coverage).  The Hybrid AF system is very customizable and the Face Detection or Enhanced Eye Detection modes are great autofocus options for wedding and special event photographers.  The beautiful 3.686 million dot OLED eye level finder has Quad-VGA resolution and refreshes at up to 120fps*  The A9 also features 4K video capture and big 3 inch articulating LCD screen.  The A9 is solidly built with a magnesium alloy chassis, weather seals, and a rigid reenforced lens mount.  The Alpha a9 has numerous other pro camera features and amenities including very extensive control & settings custom configuration and recall options, lots of connectivity, a large image buffer, and a high capacity battery.
