Sony introduced the Cyber-shot DSC-F828 in mid August 2003. The introduction of F828 captured the imagination of many photographers with its design and high quality mechanically linked zoom lens coupled with the resolution of an 8-megapixel CCD sensor. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F828 enclosed in a black, magnesium alloy body was the first design to integrate four-color filter CCD technology and Real Imaging Processor. Cyber-shot DSC-F828 offers an 8-megapixel CCD sensor, 3" LCD, 7x optical zoom lens, 2.5fps continuous shooting, and range of exposure modes. The CCD image sensor processor provides the camera with maximum image size of 3360 x 2460. F828 delivers adequate features and performance in a point-and-shoot camera.
