Introduced in 2016 following the success of the the Cyber-shot RX100IV, the RX100V (also referred to as the DSC-RX100M5) features an all new sensor incorporating 315 phase detection points into a stacked BSI-CMOS sensor with integral DRAM cache.  Burst shooting is now possible at speeds up to 24fps with reduced image blackout.  Video recording in 4K is now oversampled for added quality and rolling shutter issues are effectively minimized.
