What is the status of my order?

If you are a registered customer to view the status of your order log into My Account and your order status will appear on the bottom of the page.

Does KEH have a showroom I can visit?

KEH does not maintain a retail showroom.

Why do you not have an 800 number for sales?

Several years ago KEH did have an 800 number, however we found our sales department was inundated with technical and training questions and could not adequately service our sales customers. So in order to ensure our sales customers received the highest quality of service we discontinued the 800 number.

Why do you not display certain prices?

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) is an agreement a retailer enters into with a manufacturer, allowing the retailer to sell the product for whatever price, but not allowing the retailer to advertise the item for an amount less than the manufacturers predetermined minimum advertised price.

While KEH does honor its MAP agreements with our suppliers we have tried to make it as easy as possible for our customers to locate our lower prices through hyperlinks, email and other methods. Feel assured when you place an order with KEH you will always receive the lowest price possible.

Do you charge sales tax?

If your order is delivered within the state of Georgia and California, by law, we must collect sales tax. If you have a resale or sale tax exemption certificate please fax a copy of the certificate to our sales department at (770) 333-4242 prior to placing you order.

If you live outside of Georgia and California, but pick-up your equipment at out Atlanta offices, we are required to charge sales tax.

On orders shipped outside of the state of Georgia we do not collect sales tax.

Do your prices reflect manufacturer rebates?

No our prices do not reflect manufacturer rebates. Please click on the rebate button to see the amount of and criteria for the manufacturer rebates.

What are drop shipped items?

Item(s) designated as "DROP SHIPMENT" are shipped only within the contiguous 48 states and directly from the manufacturer via UPS or FedEx ground. Should you require expedited shipping, please contact a KEH sales associate at (770) 333-4200 or e-mail sales@keh.com

Are there any limits to how much I can buy?

Due to agreements we have with several equipment manufacturer's, KEH reserves the right to limit quantities purchased on both new and used equipment.

Can I cancel or change my order once it’s placed?

Due to the automated way in which orders are processed and fulfilled, once an order has been submitted it can no longer be changed or cancelled. This includes requests to add or delete items, modify shipping methods or payment types, or combine orders.

Once you receive your order, it may be returned within 14 days for a refund. Please refrain from refusing shipments, as shipping and handling charges for both ways will be deducted from the refund.

When will my order ship?

Upon verification and approval of your payment method all orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, as follows:

Ground - Orders will ship within 1-3 business days* after receipt of order.

2nd Day Air - Orders received by 4pm EST will ship the same business day. Orders received after 4pm EST will ship the next business day.

Next Day Air - Orders received by 4pm EST will ship the same business day. Orders received after 4pm EST will ship the next business day.

Saturday Delivery - Orders received by 4pm EST Friday will ship the same business day. Orders received after this time will ship Next Day Air on the following Monday.

International FedEx & UPS - Orders will ship within 1-3 days after receipt of order.

Mail Orders - Orders will ship within 1-2 weeks.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, KEH does ship internationally. However, pursuant to our Nikon and Canon dealer agreements we cannot ship these manufacturers new equipment internationally. Also, items designated as drop ship cannot be shipped internationally.

If you are a first time international customer or an existing international customer using a new credit card you must be verified prior to your order being shipped. Verification requires you to fax to (770) 333-4242 or email to sales@keh.com a copy of the front and back of the credit card, and your passport or drivers license along with your order number and telephone number.

If you are an existing customer of KEH and your credit card is currently on file, or a Canadian resident the above verification process will not be required.

Will I receive a shipping confirmation email?

Yes, if KEH has your email address on file you will receive an automated email from either UPS or FedEx upon your package being picked-up at our facilities in Atlanta, GA.

Signature Required

KEH Camera takes great care to ensure the safe arrival of your purchase. For security reasons, some shipments may require a signature upon delivery. Please take care to submit a safe and convenient shipping address when you place your order, as we are unable to reroute packages once they are in transit.

If your package is sent signature required and you are unable to sign for it, the package will be returned to KEH Camera. Upon receipt of the returned package, we will reship your order to a different address. In the event that we are unable to reship your order, a refund will be issued.

What is your procedure for lost or damaged packages?

Our fulfillment staff strives to carefully pack your order so it will arrive safely. Please check the contents of your order against the items listed on your invoice upon receipt of the package. Please contact us immediately to report any missing or damaged items.

What is KEH’s return policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from KEH Camera, you may return it within 14 days for a refund or exchange. Please contact the Sales Department BEFORE returning an item to obtain authorization and return instructions. The Sales Department may be reached via telephone at (770) 333-4200 or via email at sales@keh.com.

Returns and exchanges are allowed within 14 days of delivery and are subject to the following conditions:

  • NEW items must be in perfect, brand new condition and returned in manufacturer’s original undamaged box. All manufacturer’s original packing materials, accessories and original unused warranty cards (and rebate forms if applicable) must also be included and in perfect condition.
  • USED items must be in same condition as originally shippedUSED items must be in the same condition as originally shipped. Items that have incurred impact, water or sand damage will not be accepted.
  • Due to the perishable nature of film and other photo sensitized products, we cannot accept returns on these items.
  • Returned items must be shipped prepaid to KEH Returns.
  • Returned items shipped COD will not be accepted.
  • AS IS items are not returnable.
  • Returned items that do not meet the above conditions will be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
  • Returned items received after 30 days will be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee, and may only be applied to other merchandise. A refund will not be issued.

How do I return my product?

Please complete the online Return and Exchange process to return items to us. You may find this link on the left hand side of our homepage. Please remember to place a copy of the RMA you receive during this process in the box with your item(s) you are returning. You may contact a customer service representative if you have any questions or need additional assistance.

To return item(s) for a refund, please do the following:

1. Enclose the original or a copy of the sales invoice with a detailed note describing the reason for return along with the item(s) being returned. Your return may be delayed without complete information.

2. Carefully package the merchandise. KEH Camera will not be responsible for improperly packaged returns and the resulting damage.

3. Please ship to the following address:

Returned items must be shipped prepaid to KEH Camera. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items during return shipment.

New and used returned items that are outside the return period, or are not in the same condition as sold, may incur a 15% restocking fee.

Do I need a return authorization?

Yes a return authorization is required prior to returning any product.

Please contact a customer service representative via email at service@keh.com or phone (770) 333-4200 BEFORE returning any item you purchase from KEH, so we may handle your return in the fastest, most efficient manner possible.

How should I pack and ship my return?

If possible, pack the equipment in the original packaging. If the original packaging is not available, then wrap each individual item in bubble wrap. Newspaper may be used if bubble wrap is not available. Be sure to wrap each item completely and secure with tape. The tape should never come in contact with the surface of the equipment as it may damage the finish.

Choose an appropriate size box for the items to be shipped. Too small may not allow room for ample padding. Too large may allow for items to bounce around. If you are reusing a box, remove any old labels to prevent shipping mix-ups.

Pad the box with a material such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or crumbled or shredded paper while keeping the equipment in the center of the box. The equipment should not come in contact with the box. Make sure enough packing material has been used allowing for no give at the top.

  • Keep a list of the items shipped and their serial numbers.
  • Enclose a copy of the invoice with the reason for your return on the back of the invoice.
  • If you are not returning the complete order please circle the items on the invoice being returned.
  • Label multiple boxes - 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3 etc on the outside of each box.

We recommend shipping your equipment via UPS or FedEx so it may be tracked and insured.

When will my credit appear on my account?

Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, all equipment is thoroughly inspected and tested by our returns department. Normal refund processing time is typically 5 to 10 business days. This time includes our inspection process and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.

Refunds will be made in the form of original payment.

If you have requested a refund for an item that was not damaged, defective or misidentified, the amount of the item(s) returned and respective sales tax (where applicable) will be refunded. We’re sorry, but shipping and handling charges will not be refunded.

What is KEH's warranty policy?

We unconditionally guarantee all merchandise for 14 days, no questions asked, from the invoice date. If you are not 100% completely satisfied with your purchase you may return any unused or defective merchandise for a prompt refund within 14 days of your invoice date. Please contact a customer service representative via email at service@keh.com or phone (770) 333-4200 PRIOR TO returning the item, so we may solve your problem in the fastest, most convenient manner possible.

New Equipment
Warranties on new equipment are provided by the manufacturer. New equipment must be returned to the manufacturer for service after 14 days from the invoice date.

Used Equipment
KEH includes a 6 month, non-transferable warranty on used products. Defective equipment must be returned to KEH and may be repaired, replaced or refunded at our option. Warranty is voided in the event of customer damage or misuse. Select collectible items are not guaranteed to be sold in working condition as they are sold for collectible value only. Items purchased from our AS-IS category are sold as "no warranty and no return".

Warranty limited to repair or replacement of equipment only and does not include cost of rentals, lost fees, or other expenditures.

Certain items in Collectibles are sold for their collectible value only and are not covered by any warranty. These categories include Agfa/Ansco, Kodak Collectibles, Large Format Collectibles, Miscellaneous Collectibles and Novelty. Also exempt from warranty is As-Is equipment.

An optional 1 to 3 year warranty (from date of purchase) is available for many of our new and used camera bodies and lenses. The warranty must be purchased at the same time as the covered equipment. The price of the warranty is based on the type and value of the equipment. Do you offer extended warranties?

Yes, KEH does offer third party extended warranties covering the vast majority of our new and used bodies and lenses.

Please contact a KEH sale representative at (770) 333-4200 for pricing information, as the extended warranty must be purchased on the same invoice as the equipment being covered by the warranty.

Due to the complexity of ensuring the correct extended warranty is purchased, KEH does not offer extended warranties on its website.

What do KEH's equipment grades mean?

We believe that our grading system is the best in the industry and offers an option for every taste and budget. We strive to provide clear, accurate descriptions of each grade so you will know what to expect when you buy from us. When you trade or sell your equipment to us, we evaluate it using the same criteria.

NEW As packaged by the manufacturer complete with manufacturer’s USA warranty. Not previously owned or used by a consumer. *You have probably seen the words “NEW” or “LOWER PRICE” listed online where prices usually appear. Due to certain manufacturer’s minimum pricing requirements, we are not permitted to publish the price if we sell it for less than the manufacturer’s Minimum Advertised Price (MAP). While these listings may seem inconvenient, it is our way of letting you know that when you call or click-through on the website, you will be quoted the lowest pricing anywhere for comparable items.*
NEW DEMO As packaged by manufacturer complete with manufacturer’s warranty. Never owned by a consumer but used for demonstration.*
LN “Like New” 97-99% of NEW. Includes original box and instructions.*
LN- “Like New Minus” 97-99% of original condition. Extremely slight wear only seen upon very close inspection. Box and accessories usually not included. Glass perfect.*

AI “As-Is” Usually to be used for parts only. All equipment sold in As-Is category carries no warranty nor return privileges. The equipment most likely has one or more functions that are inoperable and may have missing pieces. Defects will include, but are not limited to the problems listed on the description, however the standard KEH grade will apply for the cosmetics of the item.*
 
Glass Disclaimer*
Frequently, lenses, even when brand new, will have a slight amount of dust visible within the lens elements. This is a result of the manufacturing process and will not affect image quality or resolution. As a result, used lenses may exhibit the same consistencies.

What payment choices do you accept?

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will only be charged after the verification of the availability of your merchandise. Once we have verified 100% product availability your card will be charged either the day of shipment or one day prior to shipment.

If for some reason your order is not 100% shippable a KEH representative will contact you to discuss your order.

Do you accept PayPal?

We will only ship to a PayPal confirmed address and the shipping address on our website must match the PayPal confirmed address.

Manufacturer rebate forms are shipped with your merchandise. How do I trade my equipment?

The process for trading-in your equipment for other gear is the same as selling your equipment, with one exception and, that is, just inform your KEH representative you are looking to trade your equipment. On the web just add in the special instructions you would like to trade your gear and upon receipt of your quote a KEH representative will contact you to discuss your trade.

If you have already placed equipment on hold, pending a trade, with a KEH sales representative please inform your KEH purchasing associate of this pending transaction. Or on the web just insert your pending order number under the special instructions.

Why will you not buy my $100 camera?

Due to the cost of our evaluation process we are only able to give quotes on equipment with a quoted value greater than $100.

If you have additional items to add to your quote, which may increase your quoted price above $100, please add them to your quote.

Why can't I find my gear on your Quote Wizard?

The equipment listed on the Quote Wizard is a listing of gear KEH is seeking to buy. Therefore, if we are overstocked, the market has slowed, etc. on certain items they may not appear.

How do I edit my account information?

Go to My Account where you will locate three options to edit your account.

If you make a purchase on our site we will send you and order and shipping confirmation emails. Gift Certificates

Security


The KEH Security Pledge protects you while you shop at KEH so that you never have to worry about credit card safety. We guarantee that every transaction you make at KEH will be safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your credit card as a result of shopping at KEH. KEH’s' servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with Netscape, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and AOL's browser, so that only KEH can read a buyer's personal information. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. However, we will transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.


A special note about children's privacy

You must be at least 18 years old to have our permission to use this site. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose Personally Identifiable Information about visitors under 18 years of age. If you are a minor, you can use this service only in conjunction with your parents or guardians.
