The Nikon D3s (Nikon USA part# 25466) is a rugged DSLR camera made for professional photographers and action sports photography. Because it's a top of the line Nikon Pro body the D3s is a fully realized high performance tool that offers amenities and controls not always found on mid-tier and entry level class cameras. The D3s is also built to withstand demanding usage even in extreme environments.

Introduced in 2009, the D3s is an improved version of the popular Nikon D3 with refinements born from pro feedback, lessons learned, and technological advances during two years following the D3. Improvements include a new more sensitive sensor with faster image processor, self cleaning sensor via vibrating AA filter, improved AF coverage & responsiveness, HD video capture (low noise 720p24), dedicated Live View and info buttons.
